Voici quelques images présentant les modèles des différents personnages qui animeront les champs de bataille dans le futur Warhammer 40 000 Regicide, un jeu de stratégie en tour par tour décrit comme à mi-chemin entre XCOM et Battlechess, mais avec quand même un penchant nettement plus prononcé pour le style jeu d’échec. Faute d’avoir pour l’instant un aperçu du gameplay, on pourra tout au moins apprécier la qualité des graphismes avec ces exemples d’Orks et de Space marines des Blood Angels. D’autres races ou factions seront aussi dévoilées par la suite.
Initialement prévu pour une sortie (sur PC et tablettes) vers la fin 2014, on ne sait désormais plus quand le jeu arrivera. Toutefois il semble possible qu’une bêta ouvre plus ou moins ses portes d’ici quelques temps.

The new actual in-game character screenshot reveal presents the Space Marine Captain, Tactical Marine, and Devastator in all their glory. The Ork Loota, Shoota Boy, and the feral Weirdboy strike a brutal contrast, as well as a promise of the violence and bloodshed yet to come. These detailed Warhammer ® 40,000® characters come to life against the war-torn setting of a winter stronghold environment. These images, along with two videos showing the characters in action, will give players a taste of what awaits them on the battlefield.
