Tout comme EU IV et CK II, c’est au tour de Hearts of Iron IV de se tourner cette année vers l’Asie avec une nouvelle troisième importante extension sur le thème ici de la Chine. Puissance à l’époque divisée entre nationalistes et communistes, et dont le vaste territoire fut un met de choix pour la brutale expansion impérialiste du Japon. Au menu, plus de profondeur historique via de nouvelles décisions et des missions nationales spécifiques, des caractéristiques spéciales pour les généraux, un arbre des priorités nationales pour la Chine, et une version améliorée de celui pour le Japon comme pour l’Allemagne, ou encore une prise en compte des bonus dans les chaînes de commandement.
