Les villes durables arrivent dans Cities Skylines

Toujours dans le registre des jeux de construction, c’est au tour de Paradox de dévoiler ces jours-ci une nouvelle extension pour le désormais fameux Cities Skylines. Qui a d’ailleurs bénéficié il y a peu d’une autre mini extension intitulée Concerts, et qui comme son nom l’indique permet aux joueurs de contrôler l’organisation de concerts ainsi que de festivals dans leurs cités virtuelles. DLC qui semble plutôt anecdotique vu la qualité du contenu proposé.

Toutefois aujourd’hui c’est une vraie extension qui est dévoilée. Add-on sur le thème des villes vertes qui ajoutera donc plus tard cette année de nombreuses ressources (bâtiments, uniques ou spécialisés, parcs, voitures électriques, etc.) ainsi que des nouvelles options pour spécialiser les quartiers, ou encore trois scénarios supplémentaires. De quoi enfin apporter un peu de renouveau au gameplay. Vu que niveau contenu, vous avez à disposition gratis via le Workshop de Steam pas moins de 124 000 éléments (certes de qualité très variable) poru personnaliser votre ville.

Au passage notez que le jeu est aussi passé récemment en version 1.8, patch qui améliore la gestion du contenu supplémentaire et ajuste un tas de détails (cf. ce changelog).

STOCKHOLM – Aug. 22, 2017 – Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order are preparing to make players green with envy in Green Cities, a new expansion for their evergreen city-builder Cities: Skylines. Coming later this year, Green Cities will allow mayors to make sustainable cities, complete with organic stores, electric vehicles, and new services designed to make pollution a quaint notion of the past. Green Cities will arrive for $12.99 via low-carbon-footprint digital delivery for Windows, MacOS, and Linux PCs later this year.

Cities: Skylines – Green Cities adds 350 new assets to the core game, adding a massive selection of new visual options, complete with eco-friendly buildings, organic stores, electric vehicles, and new services designed to make pollution a quaint notion of the past. New in-game services and buildings arrive alongside revisions to noise and environmental pollution, making the skies safer for Chirper at last.
