Les amateurs de 4X originaux seront probablement intéressés par l’annonce hier de ce futur jeu qui semble très ambitieux, et qui pour le peu qu’on en voit pour le moment, semble tout au moins très soigné graphiquement.
Le postulat du jeu, telle que résumé dans cette très belle bande-annonce, semble être les dimensions hypothétiques du cours de l’Histoire. L’image montrant des pyramides et le Sphinx érigés sur des terres enneigés donnant en effet bien le ton. Ce qui toutefois ne surprendra pas les connaisseurs de Civilization, qui depuis longtemps rebâtisse le monde dans tous les sens. Idem pour ceux jouant à Humankind.
On supposera alors que les développeurs vont proposer dans Ara des mécanismes ludiques plus fouillés pour explorer plus finement les uchronies que permettent ce genre de jeux. On verra bien quand le gameplay sera présenté en détail.
