Dark Future : aperçu du gameplay

Bonne nouvelle !

Dark Future: Blood Red States project update, new video

Hello all,

Peter from Auroch here!

A few people have been asking about the status of Dark Future: Blood Red States and whether there’s any more info about the game. So I thought I’d take a minute to answer some of the questions we’re most frequently asked!

But before I get stuck into those, here’s the first gameplay of the game, in which I walk (drive?) you through the basics of how to play the game.

And now, to answer some questions;

1) When’s the game coming out?
Right now we’re not committing to a set date, as we’ve done that before and it’s just not worked out because our top consideration is getting the game right. We have an internal target that we’d like to hit but, in all honesty, we’d rather deliver the best game we possibly can and take our time with it, rather than achieve a stated deadline but rush out something we’re not happy with. We believe Dark Future is already a lot of fun to play and we don’t want anything to jeopardise that.

2) Why is the game taking so long to make?
Dark Future: Blood Red States is without question our most ambitious project to-date. When we started development back in 2015 we had in mind a much more limited vision for what the gameplay would be, and when that changed to the game we’re aiming for today, it resulted in a longer development schedule.

3) What’s the progress on the game?
It’s coming along really well. We have the “RealTimeShift” time dilation system in and working nicely with our core gameplay of providing your cars commands to navigate the environment and attack enemy gang vehicles.

Loads of player and AI vehicles are already in the game and driving around the game’s locations, such as the sinister Car Corpse Valley. Our user interface is a bit clunky and isn’t looking pretty at the moment, hence the lack of final in-game screens to show you, but the development team has been toying with internal builds and it’s already feeling very satisfying to play.

4) How can I keep up-to-date with the game?
Your best source of information from here on in is going to be here on the Steam Community Hub rather than the blog, as we’ll be moving all the content we’d normally post in this space onto the Steam Community Hub instead.

If you visit the Steam Store page and add the game to your Steam Wishlist you’ll be notified when the game becomes available. We also have {LINK REMOVED} which all key news goes to, plus our Twitter and Facebook, which has all the latest announcements about all our games.
