Dans le registre des city-builders, voici cette semaine un titre offrant une variante postapo sur le thème de la survie de la dernière ville sur Terre. Notre belle planète bleue ayant entièrement viré au blanc du fait d’un soudain et désastreux changement climatique ayant déclenché un âge de glace.
Comme le nom l’évoque le jeu prend pour contexte une uchronie de type Steampunk, autrement dit un style correspondant au 19e siècle et à l’époque de la révolution de la vapeur. Le tout étant ici décliné façon apocalyptique dans une ambiance générale a priori très originale, mais aussi très sombre.
Ce qui n’a pas refroidi plus de 250 000 joueurs s’étant déjà aventurés dans les terres gelées de la Nouvelle Londres, pour le plus grand plaisir des développeurs polonais de 11 Bit Studios qui vont d’ailleurs prochainement annoncer du nouveau contenu pour le jeu.
