Trump, ou de jouer les grandes puissances du monde confrontées au potentiel chaos susceptible d’être causé par ce nouveau dirigeant.

Un sujet certainement plus consensuel, trendy et moins touchy, que d’aborder la crise émergente en Mer de Chine. Pas sûr qu’adopter une telle posture pour un jeu vidéo soit très judicieux de la part de Battlegoat. Dommage car le potentiel géopolitique et ludique en aurait été certainement plus important.
Tout à fait exact, la crise émergente en Mer de Chine est un vrai sujet géopolitique aux répercussions mondiales … qui pourrait faire l’objet d’une simulation. Une des options pourraient être la disparition de la flotte américaine stationnée dans le secteur … que Trump pourrait envisager de monnayer avec ses “alliés”
Excellente idée ! Les possibilités sont immenses et comme la localisation peut permettre d’impliquer une multitude de pays et pas des moindres (Chine ; Japon ; Corée ; Indonésie ; USA ; Russie, Inde, etc.), d’autres jeux, comme le tout chaud Command Live (https://www.wargamer.fr/premieres-images-command-live-you-brexit-you-fix-it/) pourraient bien en tirer parti.
C’est bien comme jeu ou pas ? (en dehors du DLC Trump)
Si on est accroc aux jeux de gestion d’empire, style 4X à la Hearts of iron, ça reste l’un des ténors du genre. Techniquement, c’est différent des jeux Paradox, avec des mécanismes vraiment autres. Fondamentalement on reste dans le gestion pointue d’une nation à l’échelon mondial, avec des interactions économiques plus intéressantes que dans le dernier HoI 4. Diplomatiquement c’est aussi plus intéressant, selon moi, avec un rendu plus réaliste des interactions entre le monde économique et politique. En revanche, ça se gâte en termes de graphismes et surtout, de modélisation des conflits. Avec Supreme Ruler l’échelle de jeu est plus confuse ; avec parfois la sensation de jouer à un RTS d’ancienne génération, plutôt qu’à une simulation dans la même échelle que pour le reste du jeu. C’est plaisant pour certains et ça l’est souvent pour moi mais sincèrement, le niveau de finition visuelle n’est pas suffisant pour entretenir l’intérêt. Pour résumer, si on est fan de ce genre, c’est un jeu incontournable qu’il convient d’essayer. La courbe d’apprentissage est cependant assez raide malgré de gros efforts consentis en termes de didacticiel. Le manuel est d’une qualité inférieure à celle entretenue par Paradox et ça se ressent. Restent les forums, si on a le courage et le temps nécessaire.
