Dans le cadre de l’événement Home of Wargamers 2023, qui a débuté hier sur Steam, Matrix a fait plusieurs annonces. Parmi celles-ci, il y a la confirmation de la sortie du quatrième add-on pour Valor & Victory, dont vous pouvez voir une rapide présentation dans ces deux nouvelles vidéos. Add-on qui offre donc dix scénarios supplémentaires, trois nouvelles unités de blindés, et une unité de Panzergrenadier pour renforcer l’infanterie accompagnant les chars.
C’est également l’occasion d’apercevoir dans l’interview un rapide survol du futur cinquième DLC, qui sera lui sur le thème du Pacifique, particulièrement sur la période entre 1942 et 1943, avec par exemple un scénario sur les affrontements entre anglais et japonais vers Rangoon en Birmanie, un autre sur les combats en Nouvelle-Guinée, ou encore un scénario sur le thème de la Force expéditionnaire chinoise de Birmanie.

What happened at Home of Wargamers?
Earlier today we hosted our new Home of Wargamers live stream on Twitch. During our event, we shared exciting news, developer interviews, and showcased a series of new expansions and in-development updates for some of our major titles, including details on the upcoming Modern Naval Warfare and Command: Showcase – Operation Desert Falcon.
To celebrate Home of Wargamers, two of Matrix Games’ titles welcomed a release today: Combat Mission added Combat Mission Fortress Italy to its sprawling franchise on Steam, including all DLCs now being available, while the turn-based tactics game Valor & Victory launched its latest expansion, Valor & Victory: Kursk.

Kursk, the fourth DLC for Valor & Victory, is out now.
To enhance your tactical arsenal, 10 new maps have been introduced, each designed to reflect the rugged terrain of the Eastern Front. Maneuver your forces wisely and exploit the unique features of each battlefield to gain the upper hand. In addition, 3 new armor units have been deployed to the frontlines, providing you with more strategic options to dominate your adversaries.
Furthermore, the new Panzer Grenadier units will bolster your infantry forces, adding versatility and resilience to your ranks. And that’s not all. Today we also announced the next DLC Valor&Victory: Pacific, which plunges you into this theater of war, where the forces of Japan and China join the fray.

Ca peut se comprendre, mais c’est dommage que Home of Wargamers 2023 soit complètement occulté de la Une de Steam en raison de l’anniversaire des 20 ans de la plate-forme.
A noter que chez Matrix Games, War in the Pacific – Admiral’s Edition de G Grigsby est à €16€ au lieu de €79.99. Je dis ça pour les camarades intéressés car les monster wargames ne sont résolument pas pour moi !
